DONE!

I am in full NaNo celebratory mode! :)

I crossed the finish line Saturday evening. Wrote over 10,000 words on Saturday alone. It was absolutely exhilarating but because I'm such a pessamist my celebration was blunted by caution. I was sure there was something wrong with my word count.

Well there was.

It was about 3,000 words SHORT. LOL! Everything is official now. NaNo says 55,000+.

I can sleep in peace. I had nightmares about waking up and realizing it was December first and too late....

I'm anxious to tell my Skateboard buddies but for some reason can't post there from this computers (my ds's; shhhh!!! Don't tell him I'm using it! LOL!) So for those of you who read both places, please, please forgive me for being redundant. I just really can't believe I have a completed draft. That's two drafts I've managed to complete, compared with the zillion half-finished ones in various files and on various disks.

My sig quote for the next month has to be:

"Writing the last page of the first draft is the most enjoyable moment in writing. It's one of the most enjoyable moments in life, period." ~Nicholas Sparks

Write on!!

Ah, the circle of life... Housework has me swamped, my faith keeps me from drowning, and my boys--including the taller, older one--keep me laughing. Somewhere in there I have to write, read, teach and learn. Which then leaves me swamped with housework....
