Day two...

Productive. Finally. I had sunshine. Or perhaps spending yesterday all day by myself was just what I needed. Actually I knew I needed it. I have been so innundated with taking care of people--family and others--in one form or another it was making me crazy. Not to mention that I've had everyone in my immediate family underfoot more than usual (these three-day weekends are something else!), which is always interesting. My schedule gets kicked in the teeth. I don't even try to keep it, but that just means I have a ton of stuff to catch up on when I get my "normal" life back. I kept telling myself I needed a vacation. Little things were sending me over the edge. Plus it had been cloudy for days. I was a basket case.

Then there's football. Endless, endless football. Aye, yi, yi. And the Fiesta Bowl. Enough to give you an ulcer. That was the end of it for me. I'm not much of a fan anyway and I have things to do. (See paragraph 1).

I'm still a bit stuck when it comes to the writing, but I'm headed in the right direction. I got myself new music. I should be working on prompts. I couldn't even think about doing it two days ago. It's all part of the winter blahs, so I'm trying to roll with the flow. Get outside more. Make myself move. And just not push too much. Thank goodness for sunshine though. I'm not sure what I'd have done with another cloudy day. Hibernate.

Okay, enough with the dull. Hope I can give you something interesting tomorrow.
