Hi Again!
10:37
Okay, I spent the last minute hitting the backspace bar.
Well it was a day. Both my guys were home which is always a strange thing because I remember when they were both here all day every day.
I'm stuck on family I guess.
And I found out that the OWFI Writer's conference is in MY HOME TOWN this year!! I can walk there if gas is $4.00 a gallon! I had no choice but to re-join and sign up. So my first weekend in May is booked.
I also FORGOT my own workshop this afternoon! I was cleaning out my kitchen drawers. I still can't believe I did it. And I'm going to have to miss next week. I think what I'm going to do is come up with courses that run a few weeks and take a few weeks in between to regroup, write a new "class" and build in some down time that way.
I also ran across a new blog today that pointed to a promising literary agent. It was a sign. I think. LOL! I'm also now eligible to enter the OWFI annual contest again. I have to dust things off and get busy. Somehow it's the most exciting thing on the near horizon. Gets a little enthusiasm stirring in the veins. I need it.
We're in a warming trend. We should be in the upper 60s by the end of the weekend. I am going to be so spoiled.
Also my sisters and I have tickets to the Michael Buble concert here in OKC in March. That's my new countdown item on my Google home page.
And so how is that for useless news you'll never use. But I promised myself I'd show up. Tomorrow I'll look at AWAD first and maybe something worth reading will land on the page.
Shoot! I still have three minutes. Arg! I'm so out of things to say. Here and now: the TV is droning because I keep switching back to the bowl game. Our guys just don't do bowl games well. They do everything else well!! :) The heater is running in the back. I'm running on an eggnog latte and hoping that when dh drags in from the game he'll pass out and let me stay up; he has to be up at 5:30. I'm surprised he's staying for the end of it.
Okay, nine minutes is good. I'll just spend the next few backspacing if I keep going.
It will get better. It can only go up from the bottom, right?!
