Fill-the-Well-Friday

I'm going to have to start making myself a priority or I'm going to fall into a million little pieces. And you thought Humpty Dumpty was tough to get back together....

So I've decided to make Friday "Me-Day." All day? In my dreams. Maybe on occasion. Friday is also errand day around here. I've cut down on trips in the car to two days a week if at all possible. So there are other things that are crammed into Friday, but along with those things I want some built in down time.

This week is easy. My sis has invited me for a weekend of R&R and so my Friday will extend into the weekend. But it would probably be advantageous to have things in mind to do on Fridays so I don't wind up spending the time on something else.

Ideas:

*Turn off the alarm clock and sleep till I wake up.
*Walk
-Around home
-Downtown along the canal or in Myriad Gardens
-Martin Nature Park
-Discover and explore other parks in the area.
*Spend time at the library (particularly the new one downtown).
*Write away from home.
*Ride a bike.
*Do needlework.
*Garden
*Honor memories
-Update picture frames
-Organize photos
-Take pictures--stop and see life through the lens
*Try something new: food, activity, whatever
*Browse at a bookstore
*Buy presents
*Finish Finding Water
*Watch movies
*Read
-Great books
-Catch up on magazines
*Get my hair cut/nails done/massage--you get the idea.
*Visit the ocean
*Exercise
*Ride the train
*Eat chocolate
*Soak in the tub
*Swim
*Visit area museums
-Oklahoma Museum of Art
-99s
-Oklahoma Science Museum
-Harns Homestead
-Overholser Mansion
-New Oklahoma History Museum
-Museum of Natural History in Norman
-Check for other local museums

What fills your well? What should you make more time for in your life?
