Fill-The-Well Day

I am officially declaring Thursdays

Me Day
It sounds incredibly selfish, but I'm trying to get used to it.
What Me Day is not:
  1. It's not a day to feel unproductive.
  2. It's not a day to feel guilty.
  3. It's not a day to think I'm lazy.
  4. It's not a day to ban work.
  5. It's not a day to be completely frivolous (though frivolity and jocularity are encouraged).
  6. It's not a day for persistent negativity.

Me Day is:

  1. A day to wake up naturally, no alarm clock.
  2. A day to spend on the computer as much as I want, when I want.
  3. A day to read.
  4. A day to garden.
  5. A day on which my NowDoThis list is minimal
  6. A day when spur-of-the-moment activities are encouraged.
  7. A day to set goals, long- and short-term.
  8. A day to concentrate on being thankful
  9. A day to take long walks (with my camera).
  10. A day to brainstorm.
  11. A day to write.
  12. A day to connect with friends, family.
  13. A day to bake, cook, crochet.
  14. A day to be spiritual.
  15. A day to be a human be-ing instead of a human do-ing.

Ah, the circle of life... Housework has me swamped, my faith keeps me from drowning, and my boys--including the taller, older one--keep me laughing. Somewhere in there I have to write, read, teach and learn. Which then leaves me swamped with housework....
